In designing the space, we drew inspiration from traditional machiya architecture—historic townhouses from Japan’s Edo period.
Elements such as the tiled roof, wooden latticework, and warm chochin lightings reflect the charm and character of these classic structures, reimagined in a modern context. The goal was to create a lively, welcoming atmosphere that feels both nostalgic and fresh, inviting guests into a space that celebrates cultural heritage through design.
